And Simon is back. [ a pause and then he sighs. ] We're meeting up at Izzy's place to talk about it.

[ aka to talk about what happened with max and the binding thing with jace. he gets quieter then, the anger draining from his voice. ]

That, I didn't know.

[ He's silent for a moment, mostly for dramatic effect. He knows he'll be joining them. Knew it the moment to words left Alec's mouth. He's far too invested in this group not to. ]

Well. Since you said please. I'll be there shortly.

[ the hesitation on alec's end can be mainly attributed to him not knowing what else to say... and the fact that he nods at the phone before realizing magnus can't see that. ugh. ]
