[ Don't hang up is where that's going, because he's honestly afraid that's what she's about to do. He's tired of drinking alone (and even sort of tired of this constant buzz he's managed to keep up), and his cat actually doesn't make for very good company.
After a second of frowning at nothing in particular, he lets out the slightest of sighs and looks at the Forge. ] Would you like to come over? I can snap us up some ice cream. Any flavor you want.
[she was debating it. Mostly because he seems to be in such a fabulous mood, she's not sure she wants to drag her own down to his level. Not that it hasn't already basically happened. Her mouth is still pursed unhappily when she flicks her gaze back up to the camera.]
Something ridiculously chocolatey. This place is totally missing out, you know. I can't believe how the lack of technology affected things.
[that's a yes, by the way. Her expression softens a little, but she still doesn't look totally happy. Resigned, more like.]
[ A small smile is thrown her way now. It's a grateful one, really. He's been acting like an ass, and he knows it. Nothing he's been doing has been fair, so he appreiciates the cooperation he doesn't actually deserve. ]
A lack of chocolate? We should shoot them.
[ He's already getting to his feet, walking towards the kitchen where he can magic up the proper supplies. ]
The water thing has never been a problem for me. The perks of being a warlock, I suppose. [ He sideeyes her. ] You're welcome to use my shower anytime.
[ That smile has him relaxing a bit, because it means she's not quite as angry with him as she'd been before. ]
